Alan Garner: You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later. Good season Haysi and Honaker!!! I was hoping for the storybook ending for both Tigers. I will miss the Hurley/Haysi match-ups. Colley and all the Deels, O'Quinns, Turners and Owens and all the other common surnames in Haysi were a pleasure to watch over the years. Good Luck as the Ridgeview Wolfpack!!!

Yes, they play the championships in Bowling Green. The KHSAA had the 3A, 2A and 5A championship games today. The 1A, 6A and 4A are tomorrow. Just going by the posters on Bluegrassrivals, they really like the championships being held at Bowling Green. I don't think they liked having the championship games held at Louisville.

I thought maybe some of you Richlands guys would be interested in this score since y'all scrimmaged the last 2 years. Belfry 14 Central 7 Final Back to back 3A state titles and the 4th state title out of 11 appearances. The Pirates have a lot of sophomores and juniors starting and should be back again next year.

Congrats to both Tigers, Haysi and Honaker. Congrats to Richlands.

Belfry Ky 33 Russell Ky 0 Final Belfry is playing in it's 5th straight state title game. Belfry/Central in the state title game and it makes the 5th time they have played each other in the title game. Central leads the series 4-0 Newport Central Catholic KY 43 Shelby Valley KY 14 Final Shelby loses in semi finals on bid to play in first ever state title game. SV made school history on wins in season and playoff victories in one season.

Coach Saunders told Coach Tester that Radford was back to full strength and that last night was the best they have played all season. I would have to agree that last night Radford looked great, the QB runs the Pistol Wing-T really well, they run the rocket, fake the rocket and hit you with a belly, zone read looks really good and then they will spread you out 5 wide and let the QB pick a lane to run or drop a "dime" on your d-backs. You are right hhstiger, they have crazy speed. Radford's skill set is quick and especially #5 and #8. Radford has 2 really good lineman in #50 and #75 but I like #75 better because he has a motor. Coach Tester and I were talking last night and he thinks Honaker will win because they are more balanced offensively than Hurley but Radford is a tough draw for anyone at this point in the season. On a side note, the Radford kids are really well mannered and showed good sportsmanship all night. Radford kids didn't trash talking after getting the big lead, just a hand to help the Hurley kids up and a pat on the back or tail. Good luck Tigers and I'm going to try to make it over to watch the game.
