nah its not a new rivalry its just a district game Marions rival is Abingdon, like Grahams is prob Tazewell and Richlands

Thats true Marion has only had three good teams since 1987, but the same can be said about Graham they were alot bigger than the Burg and they managed away to lose, ever since Carlock has left Graham their program has gone done hill. And if i do recall Marion beat Graham and Tazewell last year and lost to Richlands by 2 but thats last year. Friday night in my eyes will be a great game between 2 district tops, it just comes down to which team will show up and which team leaves it on the feild and not the bus.

I agree it was a well coached game but Marion did not start playin till the 2nd half. We came in there thinkin we already had it won. But then we straped our helmets on and got huge boosts from runs from Hanna, Parsons, and as strange as it is to say we got a huge run from Noe. But to be good agianst SWD teams we are gonna have to pass BETTER, we had some good pass plays latnight but nothing thatll make teams not put 8 men in the box. OH AND DID ANYBODY SEE BRISCOE'S PICK!

Abingdon still does not impress me with there running game, #3 just doesnt run with his eyes hes to much east to west, he needs to rely on his speed and blocking to make big gains. Abingdon however still has a pretty good spread

Marion will do well in glade, an they have all year to get ready for Tazewell so no worries

With the three TDs and 145 yards rushing by Hanna Marion continues to impress by there running game, passing game is still lacking they do not have a true qb Noe is really hurting by quiting last year, and Nelson is inexperianced but these are all things that can improve in time but the canes better hope they are fixed before Graham.Getting back to Hanna he couldnt do it without his line they are playing great right now. Marion will be fine as long as their seniors are leaders and the captians (Hanna, Nicely, and Briscoe) continue to play like captians
