Southbound and falconman - Just STOP embarassing and setting up your own team. If you guys had the cajones to be on the team it might be one thing - but you don't. you are just loud mouths. Just shut your mouths and stop jacking up the other teams. You guys are our own worst enemies.

Sorry you don't like women, Southbound, but you really shouldn't be badmouthing Richlands. We should go there very humble and hope for the best. Please do not try to use your words and get them fired up... Instead, talk them up next weekend. We are a HUGE underdog. Why give them extra to talk about? I'll say, women are nice and smell very good... Maybe some other folks can help you here too... Or, maybe you are just locked in. If so, nothing wrong with that this day and age... (Seinfeld - "There's nothing wrong with that...")

Should have just put "A" team in and been done. Burton nor Clintwood has anything for GW or Galax. That will be the fight. Sure didn't mean to compare folks to Richlands. Just talking on different levels...

Meant Richlands was AA and wouldn't meet.

Guys - this is Coach Ingo's third year. Don't see a better team in SWVA in A. (Richlands is loaded again). Watch out for his team. Class act on this statement.

Also bet there are some intelligent Smyth Co. folks who teach in the Washington county school system. Again, neither of these guys can be a true falcon fan. No way, no how.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there are some high school students in Washington County that are this stupid. It's hard to fathom. It's hard to believe that these kids could WANT to hurt their own school as badly as they have the past few years. Well, maybe they could be from John Battle, Patrick Henry or Holston. Is that a possiblity? I can't imagine ANY Abingdon students absolutely, positively TRYING to hurt their team like these guys have... But then again, maybe they are just imbeciles... Still believe they are "Southbound" Hurricane and "Hurricane" Falconman. No one else could hurt Abingdon like them...

I've been reading these guys for years. I've come to he conclusion that they CANNOT POSSIBLY be the dumb little AHS students they purport themselves to be. NO one can be as astoundingly dumb and uninformed about football as they appear to be and still manage to log onto a computer, get online, go to this site and actually type something that, although with many mispellings, poor grammar, etc., is mostly legible. They HAVE to be intelligent "plants" from another school, just posing as AHS students, just trying to make AHS look really, really bad and to fire Richlands up to drill Abingdon yet once again. But what school? Certainly not Richlands. Richlands has no need to fire itself up to destroy Abingdon. It merely needs to have at least half the team, a waterboy (coaches unnecessary), and a few of the cheerleaders to even show up. Grundy, Carroll County, Graham? No, why bother. They have enough of their own problems and play back and forth with Abingdon every year anyway. Like Abingdon, lose to Richlands every year. Besides, they're not really rivals. Tazewell? Interestesting, but not likely. Again, back and forth with Abingdon, but also hates Richlands and why would they need to try to "stoke" Richlands against Abingdon? Actually, will probably cheer in 2046 when Abingdon finally breaks the "streak" against Richlands. (That's the year - predicting it first here). GOTTA BE SOME REALLY SMART DUDES - OR MAYBE JUST ONE - FROM - YOU GUESSED IT! MARION!!!!!! Marion and Abingdon hate each other with a passion that borders on insanity. Heck, sometimes the refs even call the games early due to fights. (Well, kind of fights, some may call them "sissy-fights"). These teams are constantly back and forth as to who wins and who loses. What team in SWVa could possibly want to fire up everyone else and make everyone else hate Abingdon more than Marion? There can possibly be no other explanation for the absolute idiocy put on here by these two guys over the past few years. They could not and would not say the things they say for a school they love. Can be the only answer. Okay "Southbound" Hurricane and Hurricane "Falconman", YOU ARE NOW OFFICIALLY EXPOSED!!!!! Leave Abingdon out of your inciting spewing of hate! Go back to Marion and trumpet the mighty Scarlet! Your tricks have failed and have now been exposed. We all realize that you CANNOT POSSIBLY BE ABINGDON FANS AND BE AS IDIOTIC AS YOU'VE SHOWN ON HERE!!!!

This year was Abingdon's high water mark. Will not have a better qb than Hess for many years. Congrats on the team this year. Wouldn't be talking trash to other schools tho...

Dude - it's just the one you are getting...JSB hasn't been on ours for years and years...and thats not an Abingdon defense. Don't go to the "arts" in a football game. Especially when we get Rhea Valley and Damascus Middle School stuff on ours. Maybe Abingdon folks get Greendale or Watauga on their's... But it aint gonna change the outcome of this game. Abingdon will win. By a lot.

And, the Illiad was a "novel" and entire city of Troy is myth. But, do think Abingdon will win this week.

Except Achilles was a Greek and got his heel shot in the final showdown. Achilles not a good analogy to falcons this week.

Fairly nice explanation to the conclusion of the Illiad, Falconman. Gosh, some hope for public education in SW Va!!! Having seen both teams play, I would also be very surprised if Troy doesn't burn again this Friday.

Last year was at least 2 touchdowns. This year was 15-13. But, remember, Burton is D-1. With Abingdon at D-4, well, you make the call. But, Burton does "know" how to win. Think Richlands doesn't? Not gonna be close, even though Jake Hess deserves better. Actually, the "official" tailgate will be at Glenrochie - starting on the front nine at 10:00 a.m. There will be a fine Chardonnay served at 4:00 and dinner at 5:30 - filet mignon and a rare french cabernet. Should be nice. Heard that the lobster and shrimp appetizer would be flown in that morning. Can't wait!

Look, guys, any realistic Abingdon fan with any hope, or intelligence AT ALL would understand that this will not be a very close game. It is OBVIOUS that this guy, and any others who predict an Abingdon win are just trying to provoke you. It's sad that Richlands team members or coaches might read this and let it incentivize them even more. If that could happen - don't think it could this year - they are on their way to state finals. These Abingdon posters don't have a CLUE what they are doing to hurt their team, and maybe affect the rest of the season. Actually, what's most sad, is that they clearly and obviously don't care. Don't care even a whit. They just want to post their stupid, inane comments here and and provoke controversey. They know that you are going to post 30 or 40 posts about what idiots they are. They just don't give a whit what it may do to affect their team, they just like that you are responding to THEM! Heck, I enjoy telling them what idiots they are. Just hate having a daughter going to a school that produces such idiots. Abingdon is actually pretty good and will win several games this year. Jake Hess is a very, very good qb. Heck, if they were Division I, they'd probably make the playoffs and may go far - like Burton probably will, a D-1 team that beat them last week. But, alas, they are Division 4. God help them this week with tweaking you guys.
