congrats to S. vandyke & J. Hurley both placed 2 & 1 both going to the super 32 the toughtest offseason tournament in the nation vandyke lost 1-0 in the finals hurley beat j. fisher 6-2 (#9 ranked in the nation)in the semis great job:D

it was tazewells Wilson @ 125 Allison was @ 135 and got 5th will not be going to states to bad he is a good kid and wrester.:)

So what you are saying and I know I will be corrected....but in a nutshell why not xfr all the kids . Right? Boot all these other homegrown boys that work their a$$ off -- I think you're wrong, the problem is not as much kids and parents but the politics. GHS is the only school that I know that has a sports program that is nationally known and the powers at be has done everything to get rid of it. This is my opinion and no one elses, I know you will disagree (Lance) so let it fly and I know you'll probably lock me out again. But no one has said that dropping to A would be easier in any sport but can you honestly say that when you have a school that has 470 kids competing against schools that have 1200 kids that makes a big difference to choose from. All that's being said that by dropping down put all these kids on an even playing field. But from what I see from what you have posted why not lets just do away with the A, AA and AAA system and have one state champion. Lets put Twin Valley (no disrespect, just an example) up against AAA Power House Colonial Forge. Lets go less than 200 students competing against 2000 students. Now you tell me the smaller school can work their a$$ off all they want and it will not make a difference. There's just too many to choose from and thats the points thats trying to be made.

well it don't matter because mr. Rowe has said even at A school board meeting that all SWD teams have said we will not play you if you go A. :confused:

:mad: yes i agree with every thing you say but with the numbers it would have just put the kids on an even playing field and as resident of buch. co. the reason for not letting the school go A years ago was not about the kids or money but for other reasons, it"s sad but true just ask anybody who lives in buch co.:mad:

the people of grundy wanted to go 5 years ago but the powers that be said no alot of kids have been hurt by this. hope it's not to late.:(

Grundy kids will pay for it in the long run . but we got what we got . and yes it is the school boards job to make sure that the kids come first. but at GHS the kids got screwed for another two years. congrats mr. AD fatjack & mr. north grundy you won and the kids lost sleep well.:mad:

We'll see how many games he actually gets scheduled then -- better yet see how many he will win. Let's just see how many he wins in AA if they don't change. I don't see why anybody is even worried about it, it will never happen anyway.

The Grundy AD will not try to get anymore games just to prove a point the school was hurt along time ago and be hurt for years to come. he has over a year and half to get games how many phone calls has he made I say 0.:(

why do you want put down wrestling it has nothing to do with wrestling or football it is because GHS has less than 430 kids now you do the math but mr. north grundy and AD will do every thing to stop it thay have killed the school so why stop now.
