I'm sure it was a difficult decision for Lockhart to leave a top quality Baseball program. But I also know that Coach Peery will support Cody's decision and will help him anyway possible to get to the next level. After all, he represents Tazewell County!!! Unlike the Tazewell Coaches and Boosters who are more involved in politics!! It's a shame they have so much control!! Like I mentioned before,that program did not help one particluar athlete reach the next level what so ever!!!

As long as your 18 on Sept. 30th. Maybe if coach Wyatt was half the coach that Lou Peery is players would not look else where. Believe me I know first hand Tazewell coaches do not lift a finger to help their players go to the next level.

In order to gain respect...give respect!! Players need a coach that is going to pick em up when they're down. I can't say I see that from the Tazewell coach.

So no one has answered the question...In order for Compton to be considered there would have to be a vacancy..Is Wyatt out????

Only if there are changes made at the coaches level. Wyatt's success in the past was based on talent & heart not coaching skills!!

If a player wants to get college attention it is all about marketing your self it has nothing to do with recruiting. Where else can you get the exposure needed in order to move on to the next level but to part of a team that is recognized.

with they way things are looking now my guess would have to be 5-5 or 4-6. i really don't believe this team will be much better than the 1-9 team, atleast not talent wise.

if corner could run a 4.99 or better i can run a 3.9. i've seen corner run and he runs like a goofy peg legged pirate.
