Been in the process of changing jobs and havent had the chance to bowl this year until wed. nite. First game was terrible, i put up a 148. The second game something started to click and had the first seven but knew it was only a matter of time on the left lane before it went a little too high, end up with a 277 after spare in 8th and leaving two on the last ball of 10th. Last game just couldnt strike and kept spareing for a 200. Not bad for my first nite back though with a 623 just hope i can keep it up

Having lived in Grundy my entire life i understand what your saying lance. As for the jobs, I heard that there projecting around 250. Not sure where that number came from if its the whole package or just the stores and what they will need after completion.

I agree that christansburg goes to the best tourneys but if u knew what you were talking about there is a reason they don't blow everyone out. Alot of those schools that beat them are private schools that can recruit legally.

Thanks. Just wish it would have been a better set. Seems like everytime i have a big game i stick my head in the sand on another one. Not sure how i would take the 299 with the head pin, I guess you could chalk it up to nerves god knows i would be lucky to hit the lane on the 12th ball. I think in an odd way thats better then hitting pocket and leaving a solid 8 or a solid 10. just my opinion though

The thing with c-burg that i find odd is that they seem to get kids at certain weights that they may not have a top tier guy at. You dont really see them have two or three good guys at the same weight year in and out (exception 119 this year) It would be a little different if they were stacked 3 deep at certain weights like Grundy was in the early and mid 90's. Im not saying that anything illegal is going on just find it odd that a kids family moves there and hes at or near a weight they may not have had a top 8 guy at. If cburg was so great or everyone wanted there kid to wrestle for a top program dont you think they would have more than just one good wrestler trying make the team at most weights.
