  1. I think what many of us are laughing about on here is that people thinking that they are in the "bloods" in Bluefield. I mean come on get real! and the even more funny thing about it is that most of the kids in the gang are white. My son goes to Graham and says that there is a group that think they're bloods. I just wish we could send them to new york or california or whereever the damn bloods are and see how long they last.
  2. Graham's Football Program has been run straight into the ground by Doug Marrs. I remember the first team he took over after Carlock died was the team that could've went to state but his playbook consists of 4-6 plays that get him no where. Grahams players are very capable of being a good team but there coaching isn't there. Aren't there many coaches on that team that are recent former players from Graham?? That doesn't seem like too much of a great coaching staff. If Bluefield, Va wants Graham to get back to its winning ways then they won't spend money on equipment they don't need, they'll pay for a new coach. And yes some kids in school that should be playing aren't but they kids that want to be COACHED are there and aren't seeing results from hard work.
  3. Let's hope the G-men can get past Grundy with the way they are playing. No heart or desire it seems like to win. Good luck to all teams in the Regionals!
  4. i thought A.J really sparked the team in the first quarter of the game but then he sits out the rest. I don't get it!
  5. Yea and imagine if they werent fighting injuries also! Oh well im actually glad that they lost tonight because it shows them that they have to bring there game night in and night out and can't play sloppy for how many amount of quarters. Dave Marrs hopefully will be back soon, that will help out alot. Palmer has stepped his game up a ton and is leading this team. Bryan has made poor decisions at times and to me isnt hitting as many shots as he used to. Kyle Harris is by far the best defender for the G-Men. Cole Sarver is a great leader and for a point guard a pretty good shooter. Brewster struggles but still manages to get put backs, he needs to learn to catch the ball and get stronger and have a better grip of holding onto the ball, he fouled out tonight and i do believe that he has fouled out or came close to it the past couple of games. Thats the starters for Coach Carlock. I love my G-Men and if i had any say in it i would start PG-Cole Sarver,SG-Kyle Harris,SF-AJ Jeffers, PF-Jordan Bryan C-Jason Palmer. Over the years I've watched these kids play and i belive that no one in the district could touch this lineup. They have speed, strength, can shoot the ball and all can handle it. I still haven't figured out what Glynn is doing not starting Jeffers. I've watched this kid since he was little and i know that he is a very very good ball player. He and Palmer have played together since Middle School and its their senior year and I barely see them on the court together. Graham is in fact very deep in depth this year but those starters with Marrs,Brewster and Dennah coming off the bench for fresh legs is unstoppable PERIOD.
  6. Graham. They're fighting injuries and still winning! Thats called depth fellas! Abingdon will be there first real "district" test but i think that they have to much momentum going into the game and if they don't get to big headed they will win this one with athleticism.
  7. ill buy it. ive been looking for one everywhere
  8. :confused:I opened a new account for this forum because I was on my buddies account looking around and i had to ask.... What's the deal with Glenn Carlock Jr. and his ways? Why are Kyle Harris and AJ Jeffers not starting? Is Jason Palmer gonna play this season or is he seriously injured? I've watched some of these kids play since they we're in middle school and i do not understand the way things are going right now. In my own opinion I do not think that Scott Brewster is capable of making plays. Cole Sarver is a pretty good ball handler, the pressure sometimes gets to him but he does good. David Marrs is a good shooter and a scraper but needs to come off the bench and hit shots. Jordan Bryan is an excellent all around player. Ryan Woodson is soft at times in the paint. Woodson and Brewster also have troubles catching the ball and when Brewster is off he is off but continues to shoot until he atleast makes one shot. This season could be very very good for the G-men but something has got to give around there. I want to come to a game knowing that im going to get my $6 worth. I stated that this is my own opinion and I hope no one is offended by my comments.
