Gate City, Burton, Clintwood, Hurley, hell even Grundy has not gave a single point up this year so far (not the best competition tho, but still impressive) Im a lil biased (SP?) becasue im a Hurley alumni, but they have only allowed -64 rushing yards in 2 games total . Any other above average stats anyone can give about their hometown team.

I agree... both teams were in the turny. but I have watched smith against other teams and he is that way... he is physical, but man somtimes he is over bearing with elbows.

lol ppl has not said anything about Hurley has not given up a positive yard rushing game yet... St Paul had -34 rushing yards last night... pretty good pressure in the back field.

Hurley and and Honaker will be the battling for first as long as Twin Valley dont get away with Murder at home like they do every year...

like for you guys to also look, but Hurley is the 3rd smallest school in the Division... St Paul, ervinton is the only schools with less enrollment... SO tell me who in the blue hell are they to schedual? They are already scheduling schools larger than them no matter what hahaha

IM a graduate of Hurley and I even admit Hurley is NOT bdd champ material. They have the chance to beat Honaker, but Haysi will pick them apart.

Very true, look at the down years hurley had until 2004, exception of 06 season. It just takes fan support, and the coaches and players being involved.

The outhouse bowl was the old Hurley and Garden game, now its Hurley and Twin Valley so even tho its not known as that anymore the rivalry is still there.
