the only team that CC faces this year that is of any comparison to C-Burg is Richlands, so I forsee a good season in the district for the Cavs this year.

Does anyone see a possible upset from the Cavs this friday when they travel to C-burg?

could end up being one of the biggest upsets in the swdistrict if c-burg comes in looking for a washout. Carroll can and just might pull out an ugly win tomorrow.

Proud Bengal, the fumbles occoured well after the ball was secured each time, so the factor of the option offence had no part in it. Bassett has a couple good atheletes and should do well in their own season.

Even though the Cavs lost, it was far from this prediction. Never underestimate until you've seen CC play.

Carroll won't be wearing down. They had a pretty rigorous off-season workout schedule that is carrying over into the season. As long as they can keep Reynolds managed, CC should have this by atleast 2 touchdowns.

3 of the turnovers were caused fumbles from big hits. 1 was from an interception. CC does have a pretty solid D this year. Also, their D1 prospect Hunter Grubb will be returning in a few weeks to the offensive and defensive line.

Judging from the game between Carroll and Bassett last friday, does anyone see an uprise from Carroll this year in the district?

Carroll's defense is pretty impressive this year, that's why Bassett turned the ball over 5 times.

If Carroll can keep it close until the 4th quarter, they can win it solely from intensity.

That's right and Carroll is ready to win their first regional game so they will be bringin everything they have to beat magna vista.. Should be an interesting game!

Idk why everyone thinks richlands is going to be the majority of the ASWD team.. Yes the three Johnsons are great athletes and will most likely be on the team but they carried richlands through the season and there are many other teams with better athletes in the other positions

Marion is a much better team and will drive the ball down the field on Grundy all night... I take Marion by 2+ tds

How does everyone see this one turning out?

We will see what CC is made of this week when they face Magna Vista. If they play hard and have their heart in it this should just be one stepping stone to a Region 4 playoff game

I completely agree with this.. Without the transfers Richlands wouldn't have half the team that they do and they certainly would be district champs with the close game they had against CC the other week

I agree with you when you say that they controlled the line and the fact that their qb did make some exceptional plays.. However Carroll was completely off their game on both sides of the ball and shouldn't be judged by this game on how well they are

Carroll was not ready to play today and they just didn't bring their a-game.. 9 out of 10 games Carroll would come out on top it just happened to be the one day they couldn't pull out the win
