Sorry folks, really just trying to have a little fun! Don't want to get a bad name on this board. Narrows is bad at this time an it dosen't get better any time soon but i do love that place even though i no longer live there. Have nothing but respect for graham used to scrimmage them every year when i was playing dang good football team. Really i was just trying to push some bottons

I'm not RCITYHOO, but I'll bite. Defense, defense, and more defense. Very sound on that side of the ball, and very difficult to run on. They have good athletes that play physical. When I saw them I thought Shaquille Saunders and Corey Dark were their best defensive players, but the middle of their defense as a unit is stout altogether. Offensively, they aren't very explosive. Mostly a grinding running game with Dark and William Minter, who was the majority of their offense against GW and seems to be their biggest homerun threat. Minter had a key 70 yard catch against Giles last week, as a matter of fact. This year's Radford team doesn't have the numbers or depth as they are accustomed to, but their starting units are good. Don't read much into the Galax loss. Galax may be better than Radford, but they are NOT 43 points better. Radford came into that game off a heartbreaker to GW the week before. Galax jumped on some early opprotunities and truth be told, Radford flat out quit. First time I've ever known the Bobcats to do that (I listened to that game on the radio). For TW, I think if they play with a high tempo on offense, have just enough run/pass balance, and some balance in the run game they may be able to put enough points on the board to pressure Radford. I'm not going to lie....It's very tough to score on this defense. However, it can be done. When Radford has the ball, TW will have to keep Minter from breaking the long one on them. Radford will use some misdirection from time to time, and will resort to trick plays if they feel like they need a spark. Very important to play disiplined ball. Just one more thing to note about those back to back games Radford had with GW and Galax. Radford absolutely came to GW and layed it on the line and played their hearts out. Lost on a walkoff FG by GW to lose by three to a fairly bitter rival. They seriously just gave out going into the Galax game. Keep in mind that Radford had a 10 point, 4th quarter lead Friday night at home against Giles...Another huge rival for Radford. Giles cashed in on a late turnover to take the win and the Three Rivers crown. Does that mean Radford comes out in the same mindset as they did against Galax saturday? Not necessarily. BUT.....I'm just sayin

If tw can throw they worry me. Don,t think they can run on us but we'll see come saturday.

So you're saying the little league games made your team hold, clip and what ever other pentalies were called on you! Best i can figure out narrows ain't worth a crap, i agree with that!! But at least they wasn't aa last year and move down to a and you still suck!!!!

YES! BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID IF BOTH TEAMS BRING THEIR a GAME GALAX WINS BY 10-14 PTS.

Played @ narrows and am aware of how things get done there. Almost always there is a few who need no reason to start a good one. I'll always love that place

From what i have seen, galax! Good team with a great coach, not picking a winner but do belive galax is a tad better. But gw will beat them if they don't show up with the right mind set. Both great teams but i promise radford isn't finished yet.

17-18 yr kids just didn't show up aganist galax. Played great defense @ gw.galax had something to prove playing radford, came out and kicked our butt. Galax is a very, very good team but not that much better. Gw will probably beat us again but it won't be easy as we have improved on offense and our defense is still very good aganist the run.

Need a little help on tw r times don't cover that end of state. What should we expect sat.

They looked to me like they had more than 2. Very, very good team players said they were the best team they played in the state tourney.

Barely beat a really good gc team last year and was wondering who all returns from that team, and is there any body else far west that might be contenders this year?

I no it's not the same sport but radford rec basketball has scoring limits for all age groups i know that the 7th graders can only score 20 points and then they are out of the game. Is it fair maybe not, but won the state last year with no one averaging 20 a game, builds all players not just letting one player to dominate

Take my hat off to the marrons for a great game last night. Great defense very good offense. Best team won a well fought football game. But, it is a long season and barring any injuries watch out for the cats to be in the hunt come playoff time.

Lot of good kids just not playing, some playing golf and some are just real sorry. Kids walking the street could start for them just to lazy to put forth the time and coach saunders won't put up with their baggage

Was at the giles - floyd game went to watch the son of the woman who hit the ref with the chair. Time was correct giles fans are the worst when they win or lose
