Altavista brought a good crowd over to Fuller Field although they are in the east, they are more central!
-
Yes. I feel the same. Thornhill made a couple good catches on the deep balls that wouldnt normally be caught but we had our chances and didnt get it done. I mean you got a D1 commit to play DB, well .. i wont get started there. You can say well if we would have done this or that and if this or that wouldnt have happened, it woulda been a different ballgame but the bottom line is we did not get it done. Thats about all you can say. It was a great season with some good ballgames and alot of fun!! Congrats Haysi, Richlands, and Honaker on great seasons! There a many teams/fans that would have loved to be in our positions yesterday SWVA baby... we will be back!!!
-
Good luck RED!!!! yall be safe riding over to the "other side" !!!!!!
-
Have we seen "THE HAMMER" this season?
-
Thurman's Gretna team had the worst attitudes of any team I've ever seen.... well Sussex was pretty bad a couple years ago....
-
I was under the impression that this guy was an upstanding "good guy." Did I ASS-U-ME that? Oops!
-
Here is the write up from Altavista's game with Parry McCluer.. I find the headline hilarious:: Introducing your Region 1A East Champs: The Altavista Colonels!! LOL!!!!
http://www.newsadvance.com/sports/altavista-overcomes-early-deficit-to-claim-region-a-east-title/article_b63bb576-7784-11e4-bf99-f3f59a33f9bf.html
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
someone should tell them!!
Any team and any time can be beat IMHO... We got a shot ... that's all we need and listen: gotta beat them to move on, if you don't ... you won't. One thing I know is this bunch of Tigers will give it their all and I think may surprise some!!!
-
If so, I hope they left their attitudes and arrogance in Gretna!
