Sullivan South at Gate City in 2009 was a huge crowd, I couldn't even get a spot around the fence the time I got there and parked at tiny grocery store about 3/4 mile away.
I doubt they will outplay gate city's band. I read on the Mountain District forum where they have 113 kids in the marching band this year. They are always good. One of my favorite marching bands, especially when they played Styx a few years back.
Yup have to make sure you agree or it won't work. Go to register at top left of the page and follow the directions. The admin should have you up and running in no time in a day or so.
