Glenvar is extremely physical, allowing 30 points the first 5 games. Galax was the only team to put up double digits (15) on Glenvar. In the last two gamees, Glenvar has two shutouts against Grayson County and Covington. Glenvar O-line and D-line could be the best in the state. A very welll balanced team thay can beat you on the ground and air. They are really tough to beat at home. This game could attract 5-7k fans. I will go with Glenvar in a close one.

Hoke bird, you are right!! Dixon is a Great coach. If Giles can stop Galax running game, they will win.

I believe this game could go either way. Galax is a very good team, even though thier record say otherwise.

Can Graham stop the single wing?

Glenvar beat a great Galax team. Do not sleep on Galax or Glenvar. Both teams are very physical and big up front. Radford will have a long night if they cant stop Galax running game. I believe Galax Offensive and Defensive line will be too much for Radford.

Exactly ThunderCloud... You can't go off any of the recent scrimmages and benefit games. Coaches really hate playing scrimmages and benefit games due to injuries. It's just like the NFL preseason games (Worthless). These games are for fans to speculate who will win the State Championship. It's just absurd. A lot has to be in place to win a State Championship and it's not scrimmages or benefit games.

Glenvar dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The running back #3 nearly average 10-12 yards per carry. Glenvar had 2 interceptions against Graham QB, and Glenvar had 1 fumble turnover. Graham could not run the ball on Glenvar, their running back was in the negative for yards. Graham scored on a long pass with 25 seconds to play. The kid from Graham made a great play with triple coverage.

Galax vs Glenvar.. First game of the season will be a early test for both teams. Should be a great game!

Glenvar has 11 starters returning two being All-State players in Remington Stanley, and Zach Deck. They also return QB Clfford, WR, Stigall, and RB Manns. They lose 1 player on the O-line and Running Back Tyler (Bus) Smith. On Defense they lose LB Stone ,and two D-Lineman. I think Glenvar is the team to beat in 3 Rivers. If healthy, they could defend their State title.

Surprised not to see in your rankings in 1A Radford and the defending 2A champs Glenvar.
