Lance 228 Report Share Posted January 13, 2005 well Grundy had some success obviously...but you add another 25 pounds (muscle) on those guys and it would have been ugly in some of the games...lol. problem is, when you get up against a team like Richlands that has bigger and fast linemen, then you tend to have worn out kids at the end of the game...plus..no depth on the bench really...would be nice to have a good balance of big guys at tackle and smaller faster guards. BigBlue02 11 Report Share Posted January 13, 2005 [ QUOTE ] would be nice to have a good balance of big guys at tackle and smaller faster guards. [/ QUOTE ] That would be great. Only problem is the bigger lineman get lower than the other ones its all over they can push them around the field all day,but of course that can happen either way just depends on how they come out the the 3-point. hhstigerfan 12 Report Share Posted January 19, 2005 Should be a good game against Honaker and Taz next year. Our JV starters held their own very well agsint Tazewell.

hhstigerfan 12 Report Share Posted January 19, 2005 Yeah, it was pretty sloppy both ways. Did Tazewell have anyone out that game? I heard they did, but I can't remember who.

TaX 10 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 Even though Tazewell lost a bunch of valuable starters we have a good chance to do just as good because many of our key players last year were young. Even thought the seniors will me missed, i think we will be alright.
Fighton3 10 Report Share Posted January 22, 2005 Tazewell has a fine group of backs coming for next year. Eric Mcdaniel was only a sophomore this year and has already showed a lot of potential. Scott Weitzel was only a Freshman, but look to see big things out of him. Thomas Lewis and Corey Cecil, both upcoming seniors, will be getting a chunk of the carries this year. Quarterback David Saunders is looking to have a breakout year in 2005. Tazewell is returning most of their starting O line and D line. They need to have some people step up for the linebacker positions though. Jarrod Burton a fullback? Whatdoya say?
