soccerdog 10 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Lady Dogs did beat Marion 6-0 with Allison Hunter scoring 5 goals and Brittany Cornwell scoring the final goal. All girls on the team saw some playing time. Marion did have several opportunities to score but with good goalies like Andrea McClure and Abbie Kitts, Marion could not execute a score. Tazewell has got a good bunch of girls and has a lot of potential. The next game is against VH on Tuesday, I believe. dawgs86 10 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Hunter scores five times in THS soccer romp  Staff report  MARION, Va. - Allison Hunter was a scoring machine on Tuesday in Tazewell High School's first girls' soccer match of the year. Hunter accounted for the first five goals as the Lady Bulldogs blanked Marion High, 6-0 in Marion.  The match was two minutes old when Heather Rinehart passed to Hunter for the first score. At the 18-minute mark, Hunter's solo shot completed the first half scoring.  After two minutes of play in the second half, Hunter dribbled to the Scarlet Hurricane goal again. She made it 4-0 on a chip from Samantha Hula, and landed another solo shot in the 22nd minute of the half.  Brittney Cornwell bagged the last point on a solo goal with about 15 minutes left in the match.  Patrolling the Tazewell goal in the first half was Andrea McClure.
