swvafball 10 Report Share Posted May 28, 2005 region iv - tuesday may 31st - piedmont #2 @ tazewell; carroll plays va high - not sure where; abingdon and tunstall have the byes - winner of taze/piedmont will go to abingdon on thursday june 2nd; winner of carroll/va high will go to tunstall on same day - i think piedmont will host finals too. Tuesday: Honaker vs Castlewood - Powell Valley vs Twin Springs Wednesday: winner Honaker/Castlewood vs Gate City - winner Powell Valley/Twin Springs vs Haysi Finals are on Thursday or Friday. The Region D softball tournament starts on Tuesday at Castlewood. On Tuesday Gate City plays St. Paul and Honaker plays JJ Kelly. theboss 10 Report Share Posted May 29, 2005 The schedule for the Region 4 is as follows: Tazewell vs Dan River at Tazewell on Tuesday. Abingdon Vs Southwest #2 at Abingdon. Winner of the Tazewell-Dan River vs Va High at Tunstill on Thursday. Winner of Abingdon-Southwest #2 vs Tunstill at Tunstill on Thursday. swvafball 10 Report Share Posted May 30, 2005 some of that is right - but your brackets are wrong....abingdon hosts the winner of taze/dan river (@taze on tuesday); tunstall hosts the winner of va high/carroll (@ va high on tuesday). if tunstall is in the finals, then they host - if they aren't and abingdon is, the abingdon hosts - and so forth and so on.
