Guest Chubz Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 Either Christiansburg was really good, or Powell Valley and Gate City are average this year. I'm going for the latter.... just think about all that both teams lost. (PV lost Brad Robbins, which will probably hurt them pretty badly). Lance 228 Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 Cburg gave Gretna all they wanted last year and they returned a lot...I'd say they are the real deal.
GC_Quincy 582 Report Share Posted August 21, 2005 I honestly think it's a little of everything. Christiansburg is loaded, no doubt in my mind. Gate City only ran 7 or 8 different plays total. I don't think GC or PV could've played with Christiansburg regardless, they're just too strong. You can't go by a pre-season scrimmage on how good or bad a team is. If you do that, you're in for a long night when the lights go on for a game that actually means something.
