It worked out good. I found out that next wednesday that I was getting to play. I know whenever that guy gets to come back he will bust some heads.

Yea. We had a few angles of what happened. I swim moved and about that time one of our players smacked the guy I was swimming. As long as you have it on film yall should be ok.

Yea that's why they are appealing it because it's on film. There was just a big pile of people and everybody got up and walked off and the ref was just like he's gone.

What the referee saw and what the players on the field, who were around the play saw, was the Tazewell player throw a forearm punch to the chest of the GW player who was on his back waiting for the pile to unpile. Don't you think that if GW was doing all this trash talking and cheap shotting that they would have had at least one penalty in the entire game. GW did not have a single penalty all night and this was AT Tazewell. Don't tarnish the respected image of Tazewell football by making excuses. Take the 10 point loss in a very hard fought game and build from it. You have a good team, focus on that.

Oh i am not making excuses as all. It was a hard fought game and we unfortunantly came out the loser. I am just stating a fact.

So you honestly believe that nothing happened and the referee just ejected a player in front of the Tazewell bench for no reason? Something had to have happened that the referee thought was unecessary. I hope he does get to play the next game, because he is a big part of the team. The good thing about the sport of football is that you don't have to cheap shot. You can knock the crap out of someone legally. Cheap shots are usually out of frustration of being outplayed, otherwise you knock them on their tails legally. Good luck against Lebanon. I am pulling for Tazewell to beat Lebanon.

from the narrows post last week it appears tazewell had some cheap shots on them. it's a shame if the kid did that & the team will learn from that mistake. remember these are kids & emotions run high every friday night. if not the tazewell player will be rewarded & justice will be served. good luck on the outcome!

It was a tough tough game, I'll admit that. But Tazewell had two scoring opportunities that they just couldn't convert on. One, being when Tazewell recovered a fumble on GW's 20 yard line, but then got pushed back to their 45 because of penalties and ended up punting. The other being at the end of the game with about 4 minutes left, when we started passing the ball and drove from our 20 to their 35 and then threw a pick in the endzone. GW was a good team and a hell of a way to start the season (I mean this in a good way). It will only make the dawgs stronger come next week. Good luck to all the SWD.
