  1. This is true BigD. We loved playin teams like Salem because of the history there. We never heard of the schools we are playin now...
  2. [ QUOTE ] i do not agree with those numbers. mccraken is a tall, linky guy, therefor benching will be difficult for him, as opposed to a short person where the bar doesn't have to be lifted as far. if someone is in the gym for 4 to 5 hours every day then like someone said before he will actually lose muscle not gain. you body needs REST and rebuilding time. if justin was only benching 300 last year, a 75 lb gain is very unlikely. if his 1 time max rep was 300, that was his absolute best. when someone reaches that point, they don't make huge increases overnight, their increases monthly only amount to 5 to 10 lbs. most likely more 5 lb increases than 10 lb. now if he was benching 350 last year then i could understand him benching 375. but he was only at 300 according to another post. 75 lbs of squat is more believable than 75 lbs of bench. for example, if i'm pyramiding my bench and my last 1 time rep is 350. then next month i'm not going to be benching 375, i may have increased my 1 time max by 10 lbs. and that's not even a given. once your body reaches a certain point you dont make big strides in the weight room. that's my opinion, who knows he could be benching 400 by season start. [/ QUOTE ] I benched 205 going into 11th and 300 going into 12th? Suppose thats unlikely too eh?
  3. I completely agree with those numbers. Crack got 300 last year and Caleb got 275 last year. Gaining that much strength in a year is by no means out of reach.
  4. Clayburne for best receiver?
  5. Your right man...Jennings, Clayburne, Fuller...
  6. Best camp Ive been to is UVA's. Its rough though lol. Garrett broke his foot, Crack and Rob got tendonitis and I split my head open. Other than that though, its a great camp. It taught alot of fundamentals.
  7. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Gayheart and Simmons... [/ QUOTE ] But neither of those were held back for sports reasons. [/ QUOTE ] That is correct. I remember why DJ held back. Why did Gayheart? He was supposed to graduate with me. [/ QUOTE ] Grades, as far as I know. I could be wrong, though. [/ QUOTE ] I had straight A's in 7th when I held back. The reason I held back was because I would have graduated at 17. Sep. 1 birthday.
  8. Graham/Bluefield is definitely taking the best stadium, and visitor seating. But I like the first tazewell-graham game as best swd game of the year just as much as ours and CC.
  9. Hes right Tully. Garron is a good guy. Hes a hell of a runner but things didnt go his way this year.
