rebel05 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 After the loss to South Carolina Randy Sanders decided to quit. Phil Fulmer will call the plays for the rest of the season. It sucks for Randy, but after watching the offense struggle this year most of the VOL nation is happy to see him go! This could open the door for former UT O-coordination and former Ole Miss Head coach David Cutcliff to take back over.
tom 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 a shame for sanders b/c it boils down to the players not producing, they lead the SEC in dropped passes, against alabama they fumbled at the 10 and then fumbled out of the endzone for a touchback, the players lost the games but thats the nature of the beaast
Hacker 82 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Well the shoe has fallen, and Fulmer has picked his sacrificial lamb. Randy Sanders has been the loyal soldier and fallen on his sword. Will this save Fulmer's job?
tom 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Sanders announcement is top news story down here right now, Fulmers job is safe this season, but if there is a repeat come next year, he and his family better be ready to pack up b/c UT boosters and alumni wont support him, winning is paramount down here and anyhing less, they wont tolerate for long
BooYah 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 [ QUOTE ] ... most of the VOL nation is happy to see him go! [/ QUOTE ] Count me as one of those. One down, one to go. Now if we could only get rid of Terry Smith at VHS.

norseman 10 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 you can bet with the losses to Alabama and SC that Fulmer is on very thin ice. to the Vol fans, loosing to bama and Spurrier is as bad as it gets.
