  1. Rebels headed back to Richmond!
  2. In 05 they lost to Gate City in the Regional Semi's. In 04 they didnt make it out of the district. They lost to Twin Valley in the District Tourny Championship game. But at that time only the regular season and tourny champs made it. Which was Council (Regular Season) and Twin Valley (tourney).
  3. Honaker went in 2010 and lost to James River in the State Quarter Finals. Also, Haysi made a few state runs back in the late 90's with Heath Sutherland and Kory Bostic. Also, Robby Colley's teams made a run or two in the state tourney. Council's first state title game apperance they had beat Haysi in the semi's.
  4. here is the write up from the bluefield paper. http://www.bdtonline.com/localsports/local_story_052235907.html?keyword=secondarystory
  5. The last time Grundy beat Richlands was in 1996.
  6. They scrimmaged Williamson Friday night and won 21-6. Dustin Waynick caught 3 td passes from Austin.
  7. Is Garret being recruited my any local colleges?
  8. I'm sorry, I didn't know that people from other places never fight. Suggesting the tournament should be moved over a fight is crazy. Most people think the tourney is the best when it is held at Hurley because of the hospitality and plus we have one of the nicer gyms in the district, even though its not the one we use regularly. So, get over it and be ready to play!
  9. Teddy Cooper was a great man and will be missed dearly. I am proud to say that Teddy was not only a close friend to myself and my family but, also he was my brother in church. Teddy was an honarable man who would do anything for anybody at anytime. He was a pillar in our community and was a decon at our church. My Prayers are with Tiny, Mark, Chad, Connie, Austin and Tyler and the rest of the Cooper family. Teddy shared a special bond with my family as his son Mark and my brother Bill were best friends growing up and have remained close throughout the years. Bill and Mark would always tell me stories of Teddy and what kind of man he was. As I got older I got to know him pretty well and he was a great man and a very respected man. So Rest in Peace my friend, my brother, for now you are with lord and salvation is yours. You will forever have a special place in the hearts of my family, myself. and everyones life that you have touched Dustin Christian
  10. Some of the calls were questionable, both ways. The Hurley boys shot a lot of free throws, but so did Tazewell. The technicals they were givin, were deserved. It was a very closely called game where even the smallest things were called. I wouldnt say they were biased my no means. Hurley kept their composure and Tazewell didnt that was the difference in the game.
