I went to the game and Martinsville is definitely improved but I wouldn't say they are a dominating team. The rest of the season looks pretty tough with Halifax, Franklin Co., Bassett, Magna Vista and Gretna on the schedule. I think defending state champs Gretna might be the toughest team they play. I hope the dogs can go at least 7 and 3 but with their schedule the could easily end up 5 and 5.

i don't really disagree with ya except for the 5-5 possiblity. 7-3 sounds closer to right.....magna vista and bassett picked up big wins last night. as well as a good win for patrick county.

martinsville could go 8-2.magna vista and bassett arent dominating teams either.i see martinsville winning those games.

Halifax and Gretna will be the toughest games Martinsville plays. That's not taking anything away from FC, Magna Vista or Basset, all of which are excellent teams. Martinsville has great atheletes who have pulled together as a team. Don't be suprised if they go 9-1 or even 10-0.
