Counts 156 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 Hard fought game at Sandlick neither team brought there A game but both played hard. Clintwood was able to neutralize Powers and only gave up 1 BIG play. Special teams play was the difference as Clintwood was able to return the second half kickoff for a TD and put enough pressure on Owens to force a missed a PAT that would have tied the ball game with a min left in the 4th. IMHO After Clintwoods 18 play 96 yard scoring drive in the 1st/2nd qtr in which Clintwood mixed a verity of run and pass plays VERY well Clintwood really went into a shell on Offence and was ultra conservative and honestly looked like they were milking the clock the whole 2nd half.
