RichlandsAlum 678 Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 Ridiculous to see Stuarts Draft on there. The Cougars are improving by leaps and bounds, but they're not even a top-notch team in the Valley South yet. Offensively, they have talent at the skill positions, but those guys will spend most of their time running for their lives because they have no presence at all on the offensive line. Give them a couple of years and they might be competitive within Region III. But picking them #6 in Division 3 this year is a lot like purchasing a high-risk, high-yield Chinese stock. They'll probably make the playoffs (because 80% of all teams in Region III will do so under the expanded format), but the Draft is not a Top 10 school this year by a long shot. As long as I'm thinking about it, I'll go on record as saying that R.E. Lee-Staunton beats Brookville in the Region III, Division 3 title game. At this level and in this region, Lee has the best athletes and that will prove to be the difference.
