After the SWD broke up, I don't have much on them until 2001, but I don't ever remember them being a "powerhouse"...a few winning seasons here and there but that's about it. roadwarrior 10 Report Share Posted November 12, 2007 They had some pretty good teams in mid-late 90s. In 1996 they went 9-1 shared Hogo title with Chil and went to playoffs. It was 1997 when they went to Region C Title Game and lost to Radford and in 1999 they went 7-3 and made the playoffs. Also, I remember during this time they had a very good kicker who was capable of making long field goals. Guest zeus71 Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 When they had Richie Thomas they were a very tough team. They had some tough lineman and always had a decent back in the backfeild (J. Boswell, B.
