Jordan is OK...I talked to a few fans and they said that he was released from the hospital...Good Game (It sounded like it on the radio)...What calls did you question?...From what I can gather the only two calls that I question is the spot on the play before the half and the block in the back to take away a TD in the 3rd (those were the officials calls...Would have made it 30-27 in the 4th)...Seems like they had success offensively and didn't quit...I mean think I heard the radio guy say last year it was 35-0 at the half...somthing he's calling must be working...Good Luck to the Cavs the rest of the way...They will be my adopted team come playoff time since my falcons don't look like they are going to get in!!!

I think this will be a closer game than most expect, Rural Retreat always plays tough at home. Also, Pointman I hope that you are not a player. I know Coach Matlock and he would wear you out if you were a player for saying such a thing. Enjoy your success, but don't be arrogant in it. If you are a fan, then I say the same thing, enjoy the success but don't be boastful, I know that's how the coaching staff is trying to coach these boys up. I'm glad your enthusiastic though and I am enjoying seeing a small school experience success.

Actually, Bland beat an Auburn team that is 2-1 that everyone is saying is improved even due to all of the transfers. Also they beat and shut out an EM squad that nearly beat Narrows, and was (judging by the talk on VAPreps) supposed to be a contender for a D1 playoff spot. I think keeping things in perspective like D1 Vs. D2 I think by D1 standards that Bland is a good football team. Bland was also 7-3 last year and is a very well coached football team, I look for the Bears to contend for the MED district title.

There are still a few holes in your story. In you post earlier in the thread you said "Is he the coach that was taunting us after the refs cost us the game last year". So if you were a PH fan until this summer, how could you claim that the refs cheated "us" which would mean Holston, not PH which you were still a fan of if i'm correct last season. I still think you are making it up, and not from Damascus.

I checked your previous messages and they are all about PH, and In one post last year you are defending Twin Valley's Coach talking about how much of a winner he is and then in a post on this thread you talk bad about him. Stop trying to get stuff started acting like your from Holston putting other teams down. That's not the way the players, or coaching staff thinks or acts. As a parent of a player I can't sit back and watch you try to undermine what they are trying to achieve by getting crap stirred up!!! So please stop. Thank you.

I agree with Hoops, Malone is the most complete baseball player in the SWD. He hits in the heart of the lineup, fields anything hit his way, and pitches very well. If you put up his stats I'll bet he would have been one of the leading hitters in the SWD last year, and the year before that. I think it will be a three team race with Richlands, Tazwell, and Abingdon with Abingdon winning the SWD.

That is correct Zues71, they also Have a dangerous reciever in #9 I think, Tall, with good speed and hands, made several key grabs in the Holston and RR Games. But they improvin'
