Hokiebird7 1,416 Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 Giles football program lost a the father of former players Ricky and Billy Cook last night to a heart attack. Also his daughter Brittany is a current member of the women's basketball team at Virginia Tech. Rick was a good guy and was 45 years old I believe...just way too young to go. Please say a prayer for the Giles community tonight while attending a high school football game because I know Rick would have been somewhere at a game tonight watching the sport he loved.
