Also, did anyone eles notice the tazewell parents acting like a bunch of teenagers throughout the game but esp in the bottom of the 7th and immidiately following the game- yelling and taunting the Abingdon crowd and press box...Overall great game for a fan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Tazewell fans were not taunting the fans and press box, but they were taunting the Richlands players. Richlands had a bad outting and the better team (Tazewell) won. They were ahead the whole game after the 1st inning. The taunting was rude and uncalled for. I really felt sorry for the Strong boys and Stiltner. You had a group of ladies sitting on the bleachers that were laughing like hyena's if the Strongs messed up and a man & woman on the hill in chairs making fun of Stiltner for hustling to catch a foul ball. They know who they are and they know they did it. I use to think it was a Richlands/Tazewell rivalry, but it must be poor sportsmanship on Tazewell fans.
