butler 10 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 Is the football field located at the school? Close to baseball and soaftball fields?
BigD4VT 11 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 It's located in a park. Not at the school. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=138+Tornado+Aly+Richlands,+VA+24641-3072&daddr=E+1st+St+N+to:E+1st+St+N&geocode=%3BFZSHMgId_uEQ-w%3BFTaJMgIdvN8Q-w&gl=us&hl=en&mra=ls&via=1&sll=36.86733,-82.780094&sspn=0.007244,0.021093&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=
Hokies4Ever 23 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 It's on the other side of town from the school. One of the nicer stadiums around if you ask me.
vthokies331 10 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 It's on the other side of town from the school. One of the nicer stadiums around if you ask me. It is a nice stadium but the visitor side is very small which is a bit of a hassle but other than that a fairly nice stadium
brettc 10 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 its ok nice but nothing great. clintwoods field is a lot better but as far as history no field in SWVA can touch it
saturn125 10 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah we had a few problems seeing the score board but that is the only thing I saw as a problem. If I had to choose for the fields I have been to, Legion is one of the nicest around. Even with GC fans on the visitor side they are plenty of seating. Ryan4VT 4,557 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 if Richlands would update their visitor side seating then it would be one of the best with the new field, lights, scoreboard, and fieldhouse.
Nadoball 18 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 if Richlands would update their visitor side seating then it would be one of the best with the new field, lights, scoreboard, and fieldhouse. Not much room to go bigger on the vistor side. They could put in bleachers like the home side but smaller and longer. Other than that, Richlands has a kick ass facility.
