Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 http://www.dailymail.com/Sports/201007140922 Note that Bluefield would go from being the 16th largest "AA" school in 2008 with an enrollment of 518 to being the 6th largest school in the class in 2012 with an enrollment of 581. Also note the number of long standing "AAA" schools such as North Marion, Fairmont Senior, East Fairmont, etc. that would become "AA" school in 2012. Remember in WV, enrollment numbers are based on grades 9-11 only.

GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 I find it hard to believe that Bluefield's enrollment would increase by 63 kids...that's a 12% jump...are they expecting on that many "football defections" from Graham and Princeton??? LOL...or not....

LOL...or not.... Perhaps they had a couple of big classes come in, like Graham had that 156-kid class several years back.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2010 According to the guy that researched and projected the enrollment for the article the numbers were put together using the classes that would make up the 2012 9-11 grades at each school. So as of now it's accurate, we'll see what happens in 2012.
blufan04 12 Report Share Posted July 17, 2010 So according to this Scott would move up to AAA and Bridgeport would move back down to AA.
