Jason 299 Author Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 Here it is in a Varsity looking age group. This says it is legal but I have been told it is not and is Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Also here is the same play but is stopped by a defender that did not buy into it.
Bigrhsfan 884 Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 That’s totally classless for that age group. I have to agree with you on this. I mean, if you want to try something like this on a high school level or above and the other team falls for it, then hey it's on them. But little league football, I know everyone wants to win ( so do I ) but to me at that age group it should be about learning the fundamentals and the kids having fun. I guess the team running the play is having fun...lol I read a couple of comments on there and they said they wanted to use it in another game but the refs said no. It was illegal. I don't know about illegal or not but it just doesn't seem right for that age group.
Guest StoneyCalhoun Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 Not sure how it is illegal unless there is a rule where you can not decieve a team. The center may hand the ball off like that, so what is the problem???
