Single_A_Fan 30 Report Share Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) I posted this over at virginiapreps but I'll post it here too for those who don't go to that site. So when the cross bracketing happens for the semi's; what determines who hosts? If it's who has the higher seed, what if two teams have the same seeding? Does it revert back to who had the most power points? Right now you have Western Div. Galax #1 Honaker #4 GW #2 Clintwood #3 Eastern Div Sussex Central #1 Covington #4 Lunenburg Central #6 William Campbell #10 I think it's obvious the winner of Lunenburg and William Campbell will be travelling to a Western Div. But what about the others? I swear I have seen a bracket somewhere that shows which of those winners will play each other but I can't find it. It didn't show who/where it will be just which winners will play. Edited November 21, 2011 by Single_A_Fan

martrip 30 Report Share Posted November 21, 2011 I may be wrong but I think the highest seeded team in the east will host and the highest seeded team in the west will host. If Galax wins they will host and either GW or Clintwood will travel. If Honaker wins they will travel and either GW or Clintwood will host. He says the highest seeded from each division will become the #1 for that division and the other team will become the number #2 for that particular division. And then the #1 for each division will host. That makes sense I just haven't seen it announced anywhere.
Single_A_Fan 30 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2011 Here is a link someone at virginiapreps posted. It's not the one I had seen but it outlines what was previously stated. http://www.angelfire.com/va/vhsl/2011pairings.html

Wavefan257 14 Report Share Posted November 21, 2011 ok, so if Honaker wins, and Clintwood wins. Clintwood would be at Home next week?
