the_general 13 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) anyone...anyone...anyone....? Can't find it but I have heard that Taylor Wade, Josh Hess and Devon Johnson made first team. A few others made 2nd team and honorable mention. I think Reece Strong, Josh Compton and Hunter Brown. But not sure only heard this. Lance 228 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2012 Mutter should have also been first team......I would have like to seen the kid that beat him Cooke's a Parade All-American http://www2.timesdispatch.com/sports/2012/jan/13/goochlands-k-cooke-named-all-american-ar-1609094/ Mutter mostly had to punt this year, very few FG's and he missed a couple of PAT's due to bad snaps/holds...but still counts against him...i think he actually only missed one all year and it was from 40+ in the mud...part of the fun of playing at Grundy. I tell you what though, the Mutter kid is the real deal...no lie...i expect him to get more kicking action next year. Grundy has never been known for it's kickers, other than Dillon Reece who shares the state record for most FG's in a game (set against Hurley @ Grundy a few years ago)...Grundy has not really had a great kicker, but they have one with Mutter. He should be right there in the mix for All State again next year...very smart kid also.
