Berglowe is legit and would start on anyones team around here....He had a great line last year and rushed for around 1900 yards and played some stiff competition on a legit Grundy team. He is also doing the same thing this year at Hurley and dont have nearly the line he had last year. Not to mention he has only carried the ball 10 times in 2 of those games. Good line, Bad line, stiff competiton it dont matter the kid gets it done and is definately in the top 5 backs in SWVA. I have seen some good backs in my day and he is definately one of the best around. The kid does not have blazing speed but he is very elusive and you cant get a good shot on him. Runs hard and he is a very smart runner.

I heard they may have some Hurley players on-sale at the new wally world in Grundy.....buy one and get one free......LOL

You cant tell me this kid is not All District or in the top 5 players...My opinion he is in the top 2 or 3 in district. In the state game he led in points and rebounds....most coming in first half. CANNOT BELEIVE THIS......I JUST HATE TO SEE KIDS DONE WRONG

This is just the virginia preps pickings this is not the official coaches poll for the All State Team. They have not released it yet. They just now had the region D meeting this past weekend.

Since Hurley is the only one who plays any KY schools I guess you are talking about Hurley. Who would you like us to play? Gate City, Powell Valley, and Richlands. Why would we play those schools with our enrollment numbers. We are playing the teams we are suppose to play. We will play anybody out of the cumberland district but the only teams that will come to Hurley are Ervinton and ST Paul and we beat both. Castlewood, Twing Springs, Coeburn ane the rest of the cumberland will not play Hurley I guess for trvel reasons. The only teams Hurley needs to play out of the LPD is Appalachia and Pound. Hurley beat Pound which everyone thought they were gonn lose becasue Pound played in the LPD ....Let me tell you one thing the KY schools that Hurley palyed are probably better than the VA schools besides Haysi and Honaker. Now if hurley was trying to schedule cupcakes they would schedule the whole cumberland district. I would much rather play those schools than the KY schools we are playing now. Plus the KY schools are only 20 minutes From Hurley and its a good rivalry games. Dont fault the kids for beating the teams on their schedule. Maybe hurley dont have nothing for JI Burton and clintwood but I think that them and Appalachia are more deserving than any cumberland team. I agree we had our chance and didnt make it happen but that is that but jsut dont be saying we try to fill our schedule with cupcakes. We arent gonna go and get beat up every week by Gate City, Richlands, Clintwood but we will play the teams we are suppose to.

The key for the rebels is keeping everyone healthy. If they have 1 or 2 key injuries it could turn around everything. They got to be healthy to compete with both sets of Tigers.

Just take 1 or 2 turnovers out of the six hurley turnovers away which is unusal for them and they would still beat ST Paul with Tyler Phillips because he would not have had an answer for that defensive pressure. I dont care who was at quaterback they didnt have time becasue they were out manned up front. So if he wasnt healty it would not have been a good game for him to come back. I do admit his is one of the best athletes in the region and maybe the best qb but he has to have the big boys up front.
