Malik Foreman has decommitted from Vanderbilt and joined his teammate Devaun Swafford in committing to the University of Tennessee. Congrats to these 2 great kids. Looking forward to watching them play in the SEC.

battleftbl 42 Author Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 He wasnt going to....but UT offered Swafford who has been his best friend since 1st grade or so. He wanted to go to UT all along but Dooley didnt offer and Vandy didnt offer Swafford. Butch Jones contacted both of them his first full day on the job. Once he made it clear he wanted them both, it was a no brainer. Easy decision at that point as they wanted to stay together if possible. BigO 316 Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 Swafford was offered a gray shirt. Malik offered a full scholly now. These 2 guys are going to be special....especially because Jones really made a point to say he wants to close the Tenn borders and keep in state guys at home. Vic Wharton, a 2014 kid, already committed which is HUGE for Jones. He's talking to Kelly (legacy kid...son of Todd Kelly) and a large number of other instate 2014 kids....so Wharton is helping to recruit them. Tennessee has the largest number of ESPN 250 kids they have ever had...for 2014 that is. Its crucial Jones does do a good job keeping these kids in state because there is a TON of in state talent.
