My video diary of my trip to see Chelsea

Recommended Posts

Last Thursday I went to St. Louis to see my favorite sports team, Chelsea, play in the states. It's a little over 500 miles from Richlands and about 9 hours of driving. I had an absolute blast, and even got a chance to meed legend11 at the game since he lives in St. Louis.

I took a bit of video and pictures and made a video diary of it. If any of you would like to watch, here is the link:

***Disclaimer*** It can't be watched on mobile due to the music I put behind it. :/

Enjoy!!!

I have traveled that stretch of I-64 for last four years, over Easter weekend on the way to KC. I usually leave this area around 4 to 5 pm, so we have to stop right at the border of Indiana and Illinois, usually in Dale, Indiana to break up the long drive. I agree, a very boring stretch!! But then on the way back I drive straight through and there is nothing like coming through Pikeville/Grundy at 4 a.m after diving 12 straight hours LOL.

I stopped twice both ways. I stopped somewhere near Paintsville, KY for breakfast and again in Illinois for gas. On the way back I stopped around Frankfort for Gas and in Pikeville for dinner. Lol. I love to drive so stopping isn't something I tend to do a lot. Lol.

I would drive straight through on the way out too, but my boy wrestles in a national tournament that weekend and he needs a good night of sleep. I love to drive too. I would love to take off in June and just travel the U.S. all summer.
