SW_VA_boy 492 Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 Not to mention James Monroe @ Giles (Giles win in OT) and Bland Co. @ Narrows (26-6 Narrows) have already played. Blacksburg @ Christiansburg is sometime this weekend also. Seems to be a great fundraiser for the schools as well. The money raised was well worth Narrows and Giles setting something like this up again thru the company. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the next one for both. ThomasDenton 79 Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 Seems like every time Battle tries an alumni game with VHS or Abingdon, they (VHS and Abingdon) don't have enough people and end up not playing. I remember last year when Battle and VHS tried to play, VHS didn't have enough and it never happened (they even tried to get my brother to play on VHS's team along with some other Battle alumni so they'd have enough).
