Colorado must be so proud.

Rep. Rhonda Fields (D) responded moments later: “The title for this committee is the Economic Opportunity Poverty Reduction Task Force; and one of the things I will not tolerate is racist and insensitive comments about African Americans, the color of their skin.”

Im assuming because Sen. Marble said "the black race"? I really don't understand that, im white. Whats wrong with calling people black or brown? I guess you have to be more politically correct depending on situation.

by the way, if eating fried chicken and BBQ led to poverty I would be living under a bridge

Any Southern over the age of 50 knows that eating fried chicken doesn't lead to poverty. My grandparents were poor and kept chickens because they were a renewable food source. One rooster and a few hens could provide meat, eggs and pocket money on an ongoing basis.

This ladies comment shows ignorance is still a scourge.
