The first go-round with this was a rousing success, seeing 12 competitors duel weekly for the chance to taste some ACC glory. As foretold by ME, no one got through the gauntlet in perfect fashion. In fact, the only way our two finalists made it through the gauntlet was to lose in Week 11, then go 3-3 to close the season. swvaoutdoors guessed FSU's offensive production more closely than did Canes00, and a champion arose amidst the smoldering Mordoorian landscape. This raises three questions. The first: how does Canes00 keep getting to the finals of EVERY FREAKING THING related to pick-'ems? I don't know, and frankly, it kinda scares me to think about it. The second: how will I get enough time to create pretty and funny little sheets? I don't think I will, but I'll give it as much time as I can spare. The third: how can I one-up last year? Well, my friends: EVERYONE JOIN IN!!!. It's not hard. Really, it's not. Here are the SUPER OFFICIAL AND CEREAL rules: (1) Thou shalt pick 1 ACC team per week. (2) Thou shalt not pick the same ACC team twice. (3) Thou shalt submit thine picks before the first ACC team kicks off every week (THURSDAY). (4) Thou shalt submit thine picks to me weekly via PM on this site. NOT FACEBOOK. (5) Thou mayest submit thine picks in advance if thou dost wish. (6) Last one standing wineth. (a) In case multiple "last men standing" lose in the same week, they will play onward (last year, anyone?) (b) If the impossible happens, and more than 1 person makes it through alive, the tiebreaker shall be: (i) Correct ACC Championship Game guess; or (ii) Closest combined score without going over. Here are some quick references to assist you: Week 1 - Games of 8/28 - 9/1 Week 2 - Games of 9/5 - 9/6 Week 3 - Games of 9/13 Week 4 - Games of 9/20 Week 5 - Games of 9/27 Week 6 - Games of 10/3 - 10/4 Week 7 - Games of 10/6 - 10/8 Week 8 - Games of 10/16 - 10/18 Week 9 - Games of 10/23 - 10/25 Week 10 - Games of 10/30 - 11/1 Week 11 - Games of 11/6 - 11/8 Week 12 - Games of 11/15 Week 13 - Games of 11/20 - 11/22 Week 14 - Games of 11/28 - 11/29 Tips: (1) 14 weeks, 14 teams. One per week, obviously. Duh. (2) You don't have to pick the best team. Just the suckiest one whose matchup you like the best (3) The teams: ATLANTIC Free Shoes University Louis Ville Boston "If we lose a game, and no one sees it, does it really count?"
