Beavers Rule 23 Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 They play Tuesday night in Brushfork. Who will win and why? I think it will be a good, close game but I believe with Graham's returning experience they will pull out the win. This will be Bluefield's first game of the year so who knows what they will look like. Bluefield is talented but they don't return much experience. GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 If Graham can't beat Bluefield this season, they may never beat the Beavers in basketball ever again... This is by far the best opportunity Graham has had to beat Bluefield in a while. Bluefield always has talent, and even when young is better than most every team Graham will face in SWVA. I'll be interested to see if the "young guns" from Bluefield can continue the dominance over the G's on the hardcourt... starcityfootballfan
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted December 9, 2014 Graham's experience would appear, on paper at least, to present a good challenge to the youthful Beavers. I'm excited to see what Collier and Hopkins can do with all the hype coming from their middle school and summer league performances.

Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 Bluefield. 67 Graham 55 That's disappointing. Perhaps the boys can use that as a learning opportunity.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 Beaver overcame a lot of adversity last night; getting outrebounded in the first half badly, freshman mistakes by the PG against more experienced opponents, and significant foul trouble to their best offensive player (Ponder). It was a nice first win and good building block, but tougher games are ahead and improvement, smarter play is a must.

Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 And it might better tougher than originally thought because PIkeView smoked Wyoming East last night by 28 points.
