BigO 316 Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 Arrested for theft of $500-$1,000. From what I gather, and this HAS NOT been substantiated, Coleman was asked by a kid named Michael Sawyers (a kid that has already left the UT football program) to seel an Xbox and 3 games for him. Coleman didn't know that Sawyers had stolen them from someone. I truly don't know if Coleman knew they were stolen or not...but at this point he has been suspended from UT football activities. I hope like crazy he's innocent.
Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 Under VA's selling stolen property law (Virginia Code 18.2-108.01(B)), you are guilty if you knew or "should have known" that the property is stolen. Here's to hoping TN's law is more forgiving than VA's. Rule #1: If someone asks you to sell property, that fact that the person is not selling it himself or herself is the most gigantic of red flags.
