wave316 64 Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 Movie based on a true story. Race relations were horrible in 1973 in Birmingham Alabama. Gov. George Wallace was totally opposed to integration. One school integrated and came together. Woodlawn high school. Watched the movie last night with my wife and it was great. Jon Voight plays Bear Bryant. Woodlawn's football team and the Banks Jets do the impossible. Movie centers around faith and courage. If you haven't seen it I recommend it to you! We saw it at Norton Cinema.
