I had to go back and check some of my stats. GC became a High School in 1956. Coach Fry (no E) was 9-01 in 1958 at GC where he tied Clintwood 0-0, then at Saltville for 2 years, 1959 and 1960. GC was 2-8-0 in '59 and 1-9-0 in '60 under J.C. "Rip" Miller. Coach Fry came back in 1961 where he was coach until 1982. Coach Fry had winning years in 59-60 at Saltville.
