Due to official shortage and the ability of Covid to easlly and quickly strike from Thursday afternoon at 3pm until Friday night at 7pm, and with one quick stroke, cancel a game in a heart beat, I think Lebanon is super smart for playing or scheduling on Thursday. Whether intentional or not, teams hopefully understand that by not, a game date in present time is literally something that can be easily cancelled or postponed minutes before kickoff due to one simple Covid positive, exposure, etc. Therefore, scheduling first on a Thursday night is smart in one way. It limits the damage Covid could do from Thursday to Friday and gives Covid one less day, one less chance of working its dark magic.
