Virginia High 2 John Battle 1 Big win for the Bearcats!

I said Bearcats will win by 6. I was close Bearcats won by 5, 67 to 62. Go Bearcats!!!

Graham was down 18, barely won by 1, and had already lost to VHS, what makes them the plain and simple better team?? Sounds like they are about dead even. It also sounds like Graham got hot at the right time or they would have been blown out. Doesn't sound like the "better team" to me. Better teams don't go down by 18 and have to depend on the 3 to win. Like they say live or die by the 3. Also VHS isn't the better team either because they lost an 18 point lead in the 4th. We will see who wins on Tuesday, im going with the Bearcats by 6.

Its hard to beat a team twice, but I think this is a bad matchup for Lebanon defensively. Virginia High when healthy has too much speed and too many weapons offensively. The Pioneers will be able to move the ball on offense, but don't have the defense to get enough stops. The difference is the Bearcats D in this one. They will get a few more stops. When Lebanon was sitting at 7-0, with games against Graham, Virginia High and Tazewell to go, i said they may lose all 3. This lose has to sting. They will be able to score points but I think Virginia High is a bad matchup for them. Virginia High should beat them again. I give the Bearcats a 2 TD edge. As they say, it's hard to beat a team 2 times.

For those who said Lebanon would match up well athletically with Virginia High, that didn't age well. Dominate performance today by the Bearcats.

Turns out Virginia High dominated both lines of scrimmage. They had too much speed for Lebanon. Lebanon moved the ball struggled in the RZ. Virginia High was also able to pressure Reece and sack him a few times. Virginia High was absolutely doninate in this one. Athletically Lebanon didn't match up well against the VHS offense. This showed Virginia High is a legit team in 2D. Will they win it, no, but they will be a tough out for any team in the playoffs. I'd give Union and Graham the advantage over them. They weren't healthy against Ridgeview or Graham but they are now.

I've been saying that Lebanons weak schedule would hurt them these last 3 games. I think they will beat Tazewell. Virginia Highs speed and line play has killed Lebanon. Everyone was saying Lebanon has the athletes to beat Virginia High, I haven't seen it. Virginia High has too many athletes.

You can tell Virginia Highs difficult schedule is paying off. They are definitely battle tested. TD Bearcats

I would agree but they will have a large turnover after next season. Reece is a JR. That class is full of athletes. So you may see a slight decline.
