beaversfan93 10 Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] what is the record? [/ QUOTE ] I believe the record stands at 430. [/ QUOTE ] are people really taking what the RHS coaches post in the "bench-a-thon" each year as those players' real bench press??.....i know quite a few people who played at richlands and they say that those numbers are pencil whipped big time.....in some cases by almost 100 lbs.....I know one guy who played there in 99 and 00. He said all he benched was 270 but when the paper came out with the "bench-a-thon" results he somehow managed to bench 345lbs....which he said he never benched...so can we really take what the richlands coaches say seriously?? as far as lifting records go?? NO offense to RHS, they have a great program down there but i dont buy into the lifting numbers those coaches come up with.
Blues_56 23 Report Share Posted November 23, 2006 i believe the numbers that MANCE has put in...he put in what i actually lift and if you dont believe the amounts then just look at the success richlands is having on the field lately...kinda has to be true. [/ QUOTE ] The amount u max out with one lift had nothing to do with the sucess on the field!! Don't get me wrong, it starts in the weightroom but a max out dont show for the sucess!!!
