Quite a scrimmage at Radford in August huh?

It's going to be a hard defensive battle for both teams. I've seen the Fleming tape and by all means their offense struggled against Liberty but MV couldn't get the ball in the endzone either against Carroll County. This is going to be whoever gets that big play or gets close enough for a field goal. I really don't think it will be a blowout like it was in the first game but if either team doesn't come to play on the defensive side of the ball it could be one sided. Earlier in the year MV was minus a coach, and leading 13-6 in the 2nd before half of MV's team on both sides of the ball was knocked out due to injuries. 13-12 at half and then late in the 3rd all you know what broke loose and it was chaos on MV's sidelines as to who would be doing what. I guarantee it won't be like that this time. Look for a close, hard hitting ball game that could come down to the wire! I'll give my pick on this game later next week. confused.gif

Fleming's defense is stout. They've given up only 20 points total in the last 6 games. In the last 3 games against quality opponents (Wm. Byrd, Blacksburg, Liberty) they gave up only 7 points (to Byrd). If they play mistake-free on offense, they will be tough to beat.
