One play, one chance to win it all...

You trail 21-17 in the state title game. It's fourth and goal from the five yard line. This is your final chance to stick it in and win a state title. What player do you want the ball in the hands of? You can pick anyone, from any era, from any school. So who would want trying to get those five yards and a state title?

After watching last years state championships, I would say Ben Gum would be a wise choice. He dominated. If a yard was needed he got it. If 5 yards were needed he got them. Ben Thornton (I think I got the name correct) was the same type of athlete at James Monroe a few years ago. He would also be a good choice. You can coach the skills these two young men have, but you cannot coach the heart. I would feel confident in either one. If you decided to throw the ball, I dont think that there is a sane person that could argue with the choice of JR House.
