Sam will get the rest online sometime. Both Grundy & TA won their home tourneys with the other coming in 2nd. The 11.5 point turn-around could be because TA had 2 fewer placers this time around, while Grundy had 1 more. Lance 228 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 maybe...don't ever count Grundy out in wrestling though...they had a young team last year and I think they have as good a shot at it this year as anyone else does? We shall see..

cityofRaven 2,450 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 the best thing i seen at the skeens was not the wrestling but Big Albert Childress walking around proudly in that pink shirt lol
techfan 43 Report Share Posted January 5, 2005 No haha not Dresser, but I do remember what kind of coach he was and no one is better. I also know that his Christiansburg B team beat Turner Ashby A team by more points than Grundy did. I think Cburg will have it wrapped up on the first day much like Grundy used to do. wavefan64 10 Report Share Posted January 6, 2005 Grundy is a much improved team this year, much much improved from what I saw at the Agies. They should give The Christiansburg/Radford/Roanoke area/New Jersey rejects a run for their money. It truly is something when out of 14 wrestlers, 2 at the most are actually from C'burg. No team in the state besides Grundy and TA, with homegrown talent, will come close.
