Unbelievable, Princeton pulled it off. I had Parkersburg by 14 points. Princeton needed the Parkersburg upset over Hurricane in order to host tonight, then catches another break as Bridgeport beats the number one seed in AAA Cabell Midland by 3 touchdowns tonight, so Princeton is now hosting the WV AAA semifinals. Just crazy. And... I'm not so sure Bridgeport is an automatic win over them. Princeton might actually win the game and play for the damn WV AAA title.

Swvahavokfan I've read his posts on here and they are always sharp and enjoyable. Damn it swvahokfan, put some more effort in to those picks while on the job and stop taking breaks and sliding over to swvasports while at work. In all seriousness, if I were in swvahavokfan's position, I would do the same thing. I know it sounds crazy, but if you take 20 or so people and have them pick football games in round 2 of the playoffs and forward, the computer is going to be more accurate in my opinion. I can't prove that for sure, but I do believe it to be true.

I wrote about Graham and the penalties before the Pulaski game and stated on here I think it's likely too late for the crew in Bluefield on the penalty/mental focus part because once teams get this late in the season with the penalties, bad snaps regularly, lack of mental focus issues, because it becomes a habit by game 8ish and it's just rare that it would be fixed to sustain a team in the playoffs. I was.....wrong again. At least, I think I was wrong because Graham kind of started the much less penalty thing with the Pulaski game and doesn't seem to have reverted back. That's not a good sign for opponents.

LOL on the Big Creek/McDowell County toss in Mountain Football. I see what you did there. Might as well toss in the snake handlers down in Jolo. I don't care if he handles rattlesnakes, by God he knows football, and is probably knowledgeable about "Defense and Making Adjustments."

Got to watch em over in Max Meadows Gridiron60. They are as fickle as a one half poopie flavored lolly pop with the other half flavored deliciously sour apple. I just don't pick against them or for them. I think Fort Chiswell has much more talent and good football players over there than most on this board may realize. So help me, it wouldn't surprise me if they beat GW and then went on to beat Galax/Grayson winner. It just simply would offer zero shock value or surprise to me. With that written, if Fort Chiswell lost tonight by 3 touchdowns to GW, again, just zero shock value or surprise. Out of all my years on this board and watching not just High School Football, but all HS Sports in Southwest Virginia, Fort Chiswell has fooled me FAR more times (wins and losses) than any team in the coverage area by a lot. No other team is really close. With all that written, the amount of good ballers and talent on the FC team is nowhere near as wide of a gap compared to GW, Galax, or Grayson than most realize. Just my opinions

One of those guys doing the picking named Brian Owens from what it appears.......literally went with the Calpreps picks, literally down to the score for both teams. Dude needs to be more autonomous. At least change the score a couple of points or something, good grief. I like how they do these picks. I'm telling ya man, Southwestern VA could learn so much from Northeast TN and West Virginia regarding HS football, media coverage, etc.
